FAQ: Facial Interface and Foam Replacement Set for Meta/Oculus Quest 2
Installation
Remove the Quest 2 facial interface and insert our custom facial interface. Then, apply one of our foam pads onto the installed facial interface.
You might have the Quest 2 glasses spacer installed. Remove it and then insert our facial interface.
Compatibility with prescription glasses and glasses spacers
Different glasses will have different mileage depending on the size of the frames and thickness of the prescription lenses. We cannot guarantee that your glasses will fit inside comfortably.
VR Cover Facial Interface Spacer
- Compatible with: The VR Cover Facial Interface and Foam Replacement Set for Meta Quest 2, including the ThrilSeeker edition. This combination allows you to use the spacer for increased lens clearance and also utilize the included thicker Comfort foam for extra room.
- Not compatible with: The VR Cover Fitness Facial Interface Sets. For use with Fitness facial interfaces, please use the original glasses spacer that came with your Meta Quest 2 headset.
Cleaning, general care and materials
We recommend cleaning with alcohol-free antibacterial wipes. They can also be wiped dry with a microfiber cloth. Do not machine-wash the foams.
No, the foam is not waterproof. It is covered in a water-resistant PU leather material which offers some protection against sweat by preventing most of it from soaking through.
Yes, our PU leather is 100% synthetic.
Field of View
The thinner Standard foam is designed to bring you closer to the lens for a wider FOV. The actual FOV experienced among users will ultimately be determined by one’s face shape and size.
Compatibility with different headsets or other VR Cover products
No, this is designed to be used on the Quest 2 only and will not work on other headsets, such as the Meta Quest 3S or Quest 3.
The cotton and silicone covers are designed to fit on the original Quest 2 facial gasket only and won’t work on our custom facial interfaces and foams.

The foam may be blocking the sensor. Move the foam further to the outer edge of the facial interface so that it is not in the way of the sensor. We also recommend tightening the top and side straps to help get you closer to the screen.
Shipping
We offer two shipping options: Standard and Express.
North America: Delivery times may vary depending on the location of the stock. Orders shipped from our US fulfillment center generally arrive within 5 – 7 business days. Orders shipped from Thailand typically arrive within 2 weeks. Kindly note that we are unable to ship to Armed Forces (AP) addresses.
Other countries: Orders ship from Thailand and may take 1 – 2.5 weeks to arrive.

Most orders are processed within 24 hours. European customers may have to wait a little longer as we ship using a batch-ship method.

International orders MAY be subject to local charges, especially when shipped via the Express shipping mode. If you are looking to minimize import costs, we suggest choosing the slower standard shipping method.
Orders to Europe: Non-EU orders may incur import tax.
Customs policies vary widely, with customs or import duties being charged once the order reaches its destination country. Please be aware of any additional fees your local customs office may charge before placing your order, as we cannot mark your International Orders as a gift to bypass customs.
VR Cover unfortunately cannot be held responsible for any extra charges. If a delivery is refused and returned to us because of unpaid local VAT, import duty or additional courier fees incurred on the order, the final refunded amount will be nett of all costs associated with the return.
Is your address in a remote location? Deliveries to postcodes in this list will incur a Remote Area Surcharge if the order is shipped via Express mode. If a surcharge applies, we will contact customers after the orders have been confirmed to process the additional payment.
To avoid the surcharge, please select the Standard shipping mode instead.
