Samsung Gear VR Foam Replacement (Waterproof for Exhibitions) 2016 Model
The waterproof Gear VR foam replacement can be used as replacement for the original Gear VR face foam cushioning. They are made from a soft leather like material (similar to what is used for high quality headphones) and are easy to clean. They work like the original Gear VR face foam cushioning and are perfect for exhibitions, demoing the Gear VR to people or sport activities.
Simply wipe down the foam padding with antibacterial wipes in between uses and you are good to go again or exchange them and clean the one you are not using.
As well as improving hygiene, this foam replacement helps to block light-leak through the nose making your VR experiences more immersive.

- Can I wash the Gear VR Foam Replacement?
No. They are designed to be cleaned with antibacterial wipes. Alcohol wipes will not damage the pads but we recommend the use of alcohol-free antibacterial wipes if possible.

Yes. The pad is a thick layer of foam wrapped in a soft, vegan-safe, leather-like material that feels great against your skin.

It is possible to use this model with the 2017/2018 models of the Gear VR, however the fit may be imperfect. It is recommended if you are looking to minimize light leak through the nose area though.
