VR Lens Lab Launch - Glasses for Virtual Reality Headsets
Last week we launched our new virtual reality project called VR Lens Lab. With VR Lens Lab we offer prescription lens adapter for virtual reality headsets.
So instead of wearing glasses, now your VR headset can wear glasses. Besides the prescription lenses we also offer non prescription lenses that protect the original headset lenses or in case of the Blueguard VR coated lenses protect your eyes from harmful blue light.
The most simple option are lens caps that you can use to protect your VR lenses when traveling.
How to put on the VR Cover for Gear VR Consumer Version
Just a quick video how to easily put the new VR Cover for Samsungs Gear VR (Consumer Version) on. Go ahead and do it this way instead of wrestling with the foam padding directly.

Just make sure you pick the right one. If you have an older Gear VR (the Innovator Edition) it most likely has the old Oculus Rift logo on it. If you have a newer Gear VR that was released in November 2015 or later it has the new Oculus Rift logo on it and is the Consumer Edition that also works with the Samsung Note 5.

HTC Vive VR Cover (Limited production run)
We currently have a few regular HTC Vive VR Cover left but unfortunately our waterproof HTC Vive VR Cover are already sold out. We do not produce them again because for the limited amount of HTC Vive out there another production run wouldn’t be worth it.

Organic Cotton / Bamboo VR Cover for Gear VR and Oculus Rift. Plus Leather VR Cover
We had the organic cotton bamboo Oculus Rift DK1 / DK2 VR Cover already a few months ago and are happy to have them back. We also offer organic Gear VR Cover versions that work for both Note 4 and Galaxy S6 Gear VRs now. If you look for a hygiene solution for your virtual reality headset and prefer that your skin is only with 100% natural materials in contact our organic VR Covers are the right choice for you.
We had a few people ask for leather VR Covers in the past, so we started to experiment and after going through a variety of different leathers we settled for a soft lamb skin leather. It is still leather and probably not the first choice for most people but if you look for a bit more classy way to demo your experiences this could be the right choice for you.

Waterproof Exhibition VR Covers for Gear VR & Oculus Rift
We are happy to announce our new 100% waterproof nylon VR Cover for Samsung Gear VR (S6 & Note 4) and Oculus Rift DK1 / DK2.
These new VR Covers are perfect when you demo your software or simply let many people use your headset. Just use wet wipes in between sessions and wipe the VR Cover down to clean it. It dries within seconds and is ready for the next person to use.
The Oculus Rift version has also an reinforced silicon band to make sure the waterproof VR Cover stays in place even when the headset is put on and taken off frequently.

How to put your Gear VR Cover on
The first Gear VR Cover we sent out last Thursday have arrived in some places already and here is a step by step video how you can easily put them on your Samsung Gear VR.
- Find the VR Cover logo patch (that side is up)
- Loosely fit the VR Cover around your Gear VR
- Align the lower part of the Gear VR Cover while pressing it in the nose indentation.
- Lift the foam and slide the lower VR Cover straps under the foam.
- Do the same for the straps on the upper side.
- If necessary adjust the top of the Gear VR Cover.
- Enjoy your Gear VR in a more comfortable and clean way!

Gear VR Cover Launch
We are launching our Gear VR Cover today and have 150 sets ready to be shipped out this Thursday.
The Gear VR Cover works with both kinds of foam that come with the Gear VR. Just like the DK2 VR Cover it has no padding and is lightweight and soft.
We have added some velcro straps that keep it in place so it fits even better and stays perfectly on your Gear VR even when putting it back into the Gear VR case.
We will post a more detailed hands on video later this week.
